To wit, today, I tripped over my spinning wheel (twisting yarns for a test knit), and sprained my ankle. Bad. And, let me just admit, this isn’t the first sprain, broken bone, or yanked tendon yarn injury I’ve had. Good news is I grew up in a household and a community that was all about Ohio high school football, so I know how to play through the pain. (And I kept my walking cast from last time, so the ER at Northwestern Memorial didn’t get to charge me for that!) The even better news is I can knit myself a cozy for a walking cast — or maybe two.
