Because There Is a Plan

I was just frantically running around the Casa del Dog Hair, trying to pack up my stuff and get on the road for a trip home.  I came back to my laptop to shut it down and saw this, from a friend on FB.

Let me reiterate — see link #10.  I’m talking about #10. NUMBER 10 is where it’s at, friends.  When I was a child, I was scared of Mr. Rogers (I mean, for real — I had nightmares about those puppets).  This, however, gave me some new perspective on how powerful he was as a soldier in the empathy army.  Not to be corny (or, maybe it’s too late!), but seriously, if you look at reason #10, and see his ability to move arguably narcissistic people to an empathetic space — He says, basically, “All right, it’s okay that you’re great, but you have to be quiet now.  Shhhh, and stop it.  I’ll watch the time for you, you only have to give 10 seconds.  Just be and be quiet for 10 seconds.  And in that quiet, think about the perspective of the people who helped to getyou here and what it means to THEm to see you excel.”  Goosebumps.

I already posted on FB for Little Friday Eve, so this post is just gravy.  Find the biscuit that works for you and sop it up.  Happy LFE.2.  See you on Little Friday proper.
