My name is Jennifer. As people go, I think I’m pretty nice. I am working hard to be a better me, though. My hobbies include volunteering (you can’t go wrong with the ASPCA, I say), knitting, sewing, travel (Provence, Costa Brava, Alaska and Vieques in 2012!), planning big things, and reading. I’m also a huge fan of Masterpiece Mystery, which helps the knitting go faster on lazy Sunday afternoons.
If I could have one superpower, it would be the power to make people poop their pants. There’s an explanation for that, too long to post here.
If I could change one thing about myself, it would be the degree to which I care what other people think.
While we’re talking about change and goals, if someone asked me what I hoped the next little while would bring — aside from world peace, affordable healthcare, no Donald Trump, substantial personal weight loss, jobs for folks who need them, and an end to cruelty and apathy in general — I guess I’d say a new, quieter life for all of us, more time to work on ourselves, and for me, the ability to exercise financial restraint (when it comes to yarn.) Oh, and also, more folks visiting the Make.Do site, and a physical home for that work.
That is all.
